Day 1 — Arrival in Djanet
Arrival in Djanet, the gateway to the spectacular landscapes of the Tassili n’Ajjer.
Meet the local team and transfer to the accommodation. Depending on the arrival time, enjoy a first introduction to the town and prepare for the upcoming desert adventure.
Overnight: Djanet
Day 2 — Djanet to Tadrart
After breakfast, depart by 4×4 vehicles towards the Tadrart region, southeast of Djanet.
Travel through vast desert landscapes and discover the immense open spaces and remarkable rock formations of the Tassili region. Enter the Tadrart through the wadi of In Djaren and begin discovering its extraordinary mineral landscapes.
Enjoy the first views of the region’s famous red sand dunes and dramatic rock formations.

Day 3 — Tadrart: Rock Art & Red Dunes
A full day dedicated to exploring the spectacular landscapes of the Tadrart.
Discover ancient rock paintings and engravings, dating back thousands of years, offering a fascinating glimpse into a time when elephants, giraffes and rhinos inhabited the region.
Continue through a constantly changing landscape of coloured sands, dramatic rocks and extraordinary natural formations.

Day 4 — Tin Merzouga & Tadrart Landscapes
Continue exploring the heart of the Tadrart and its remarkable variety of landscapes.
One of the main highlights of the day is the ascent of Tin Merzouga, one of the highest dunes in the region. From the summit, enjoy exceptional panoramic views over the vast landscapes of the Tadrart.
The rest of the day is dedicated to discovering more of the region’s fascinating rock formations, many of which resemble animals and other imaginary shapes.

Day 5 — Tadrart to Djanet
After breakfast, enjoy the final moments in the Tadrart before beginning the scenic 4×4 journey back to Djanet.
Travel once again through the extraordinary landscapes of the Sahara before arriving in Djanet.
